The Dental Crown Process

Getting a dental crown typically involves two appointments. During your first visit, Dr. Wierchowski will prepare the tooth by carefully reshaping it to make room for the crown. We will then take a precise impression of your teeth, which is sent to a dental lab where your custom crown will be expertly crafted to match the color, size, and shape of your natural teeth. You will be given a temporary crown to wear in the meantime. On your second visit, your permanent crown will be bonded securely in place, giving you a strong and beautiful new smile.
